I’m the Mom of three adult children.

​

As a working Mom, I worried about missing important moments with my kids when they were young. My boss at Nickelodeon told me about the ‘Seven on Seven’ film that documented the same children every 7 years from childhood until their late years. I thought the concept was fascinating.

 

But I also knew how fast my kids were growing up and thought an annual interview would be even better. Working in TV, I knew the power of interviewing, so I started filming my kids every year on their birthday.

 

Fifteen years later, I feel like this was one of my best decisions. My collection of Birthday Interviews is my most valued possession.

 

I’m now sharing the Birthday Interview idea to encourage Mothers to start interviewing their own children so that they have their own clear timeline of their kids’ precious, beautiful and fleeting evolution.

MY goal is 1M interviews by 2030.
